Layout Challenge #7

:rolleyes1 I have the same paper too.

I never would have thought to use it that way. Love the layout.

Here is my contribution:

A 2 page spread on meeting Captain Hook in September. I used some shine gold paper that was cut into circles to matte some of the embellishments (like gold coins). I love the Pirate paper I found on Ebay - I think it was Rusty Pickle.

They are fine- they automatically shrink to fit my pop up window once they are fully opened.

Your pages look great!

Hope I got everyone!! If I missed you, it does not mean I di dnot see or like your layout, I just did a quick skim to collect my "quotes"

Here are my pages. I'm pleased with how they came out, but it took me forever to find papers I liked together. This is a direct scraplift from one of the Sept. 2008 page maps.

The whole layout....

You can't really tell, because the photos look a bit washed out, but I got to use my Cricut Accent Essentials for the circles!

Thanks for looking and thanks for posting a fun challenge!.............P

I love how simple yet elegant this one is. Great job!!
Here is mine. All elements made from scratch yesterday. :)

This one is neat. I like how you ran the paper across the middle of both pages. I always forget to do the little touches like that.

I got this one done on time! :cool1:

I used paper with circle and used a circle for journal box. I realized later I could have cut 2 of the photos into circles, oh well, I always notice something I could have done better once I'm done. :confused3

Sorry, the photo of the page is a bit blurry, I wanted to use available light to avoid glare.

LOVE IT!!! Where is this pool? DH and I were trying to figure it out...

I love how the circles on the side of the page appear to be bubbles.

AWESOME LAYOUT!!

Here is mine. Obviously I am not eligible for the prize. These challenges just really motivate me. :)

I used my CM circle cutter for the title and journaling box (even though I didn't really journal). I also used my circle embossing folder on my cuttlebug and inked it for the title circle.

You got some awesome photos from the Safari!! WOW!!

I love the use of the "punch prize". These are amazing layouts!!

First thing I did when I got home today was take a pic of my circle layout.

Bowling is a pretty easy one. Each circle has three little "holes" to make them each balls. You cant really see it in the pic.
This is such a cool idea!! I LOVE IT!! Great job!!

Love the layouts so far!

Here's mine:

You have channelled your inner Grover - this one made me laugh out loud and I am going to talk in my horrible Grover voice for the rest of the night.

I love how you saw that theme in these 2 pictures.

Circles!!

Disclaimer: Not sure if this page counts though. The mat, tag and journal box were made in a swap by MazdaUK.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I love how the gold circles you used are mirrored from the circular window in the pics.

Very cool layout, but wow, what an awesome memory those pictures must represent. :thumbsup2

HI,
I really like so many of these layouts! This ended up being a very creative one! I think at least for me I got away from using circles......but I actually love the way every one has used them!
Here is mine....it is way different than I would ever do! But I felt creative and wanted to play! So the turkey was me just being silly! I just started to cut! and the next thing I knew it went together!

:thumbsup2 I think it looks great. You probably used the most cut out circles too. :)

Great Layouts everyone.

Remember the deadline is tomorrow night at midnight EST so there is still time to submit a page and be entered to win the elusive threading water punch.

I will pick a winner on Monday morning. Actually I think I will have my DD2 pick the winner.

Great job on all the layouts so far. So creative!!!
