I challenge you to create a layout using 3 or more patterned papers, an arrow, and a one word title.

Here's my example:

Can't wait to see what you do with this! Post your layout on this thread and I will draw a winner to host the next challenge on March 7th. Have fun!

I am going to an all day crop this Saturday. I will have to give this a try.

Here you go 3 patterns (the large strip of pattern paper down the side, the "frame" around the smaller photos and the "circles" inside the flowers), an arrow (I used 3) and 1 word purrfect (the title).
I think it took me 2 hours to complete because I sewn a criss cross pattern down the side (it goes from top to bottom-you can see the pattern on my photo)

That's stunning! Love the title and the colors on all the flowers really pop! The stitching is beautiful, too! Great job. :thumbsup2

Thank you.

I pulled the colors for the flowers from the pattern papers. I used the "sew Easy" to help with the sewing. It had to go through 5 layers of paper so it didn't go all the way through but it did score the holes that I was able to poke through with the needle.
The circles for the flowers I got from another pattern paper (you can see that here) http://family.webshots.com/photo/2312151370079946734mkowcD
And for the title I didn't want to go with the usual title "Marie" or something that went with the movie so I came up with a slighty different title than I would normally use.

I think this is 1 of my favorite layouts.

again thank you..

Here's mine:

Thanks for the arrow idea! It actually covers up a distracting element in the picture, instead of having to crop it smaller than I would have liked.

Great use of the arrow! Your page is so fun and bright! :)

Anyone else taking up the challenge? Deadline is tomorrow!

I wish I could but my finger is killing me. I will use the idea on a page when I can scrap again

My son drew a name out of a hat and our winner is...

Nutz4Dizney!

Congrats! If you'd like to PM me your address, I will send along a little RAK as a prize. Now you can host the next challenge.

Thanks for playing along - hope you get more takers for your challenge!

Congratulations, Nutz4Disney - I love the Marie page, and can't wait to see what you pick for the next one!

Thank you. I don't need a RAK I do it for fun and to get those pages done not for prizes but thank you anyway that is very nice of you.

I'll post a challenge in a bit.

What fun pages... All my scrapbooking stuff is packed up for our move, but I hope I'll be able to participate again soon.
