Disney sells lanyards in almost every gift shop on property. You could pick one up as soon as you get there. Also, Walmart, Target, etc. sell lanyards. If you aren't going for a month or more, go to www.laughingplace.com. They can ship Disney lanyards directly to you.

I got mine on ebay. It is red with Mickey Mouse on it. It cost $7 and got to me in about a week.
