Hi Everyone,

We are taking the Disneyland Express bus round trip from LAX to Hojo for our trip in April. Can anyone tell me...

1. Approx. how long is the ride?
2. Where does the bus stop before getting to the HoJo? Or does this depend on where people on the bus are staying?
3. Do the buses have bathrooms?

Thanks!

How long will vary depending on when you are travelling (peak hour etc):drive: . We got on a Tuesday at about 9.30am and I think it took about 1 hour & there was only a handful of people on board.
We stayed at Camelot Inn & Suites which isn't far from Hojo's and I seem to remember it went to the Disney hotels first before progressing to others.
I honestly can't remember if there was a loo on board.

I've never taken the DLR Express, but its likely route will be straight off 5, to onsite, then straight down Harbor.

Approx 1 hour depending on traffic.

Depends on where people are staying. Ours stopped at 4 diffrent places before HoJo
3. Do the buses have bathrooms?
Yes there was one on the bus we had. It is a greyline type bus. When you get you luggage just go outside to the middle island under the green signs and then wait for the bus to show.

Thanks!

No Problem

We have stayed at HOJOs and did the DL Express. On the way from LAX is stops at various places on route to HOJOs so it will depends on how many people are on that particular bus. The max we have taken from LAX to HOJOs is an hour. Going back to LAX, you will catch the DL Express at 20 minutes to the hour every hour. It will go to DL Hotel where you will change to the LAX bus. We always take the DL Express from LAX.

We were the last drop at HOJO's last year. We stopped six times before that. It goes pretty quick so we didn't mind.

HI OP!!!!

Good Question! But, what made you decide to go with the disneyland express rather than renting a car? I am not sure which way to go - car or DL express. We are a party of 5 as well. Can you tell me the cost of the DL express?

thanks;)

I'm not sure about the 2009 rates, but the rates from last year were 30 roundtrip for adults, 22 for kids. One way for adults 20, and 17 for kids.

A car will get you places faster and you can zip around much more conveniently, as opposed to relying on transit. But if you know you'll be staying only within the DLR vicinity, most ppl don't bother with renting a car.

An hour isn't bad at all! We arrive at LAX at 11 am, so by the time we get our bags, get on the bus and make our way to the HoJo, we won't have too much time to kill before check-in. Timing-wise, that works out great.
