Out of LAX I have read[in only 1 post] that there is a "Disney Bus" is this correct?

If you do take the Disney Bus from LAX to Disney, will it take you to your Hotel on Harbor Blvd?

Can you catch the Disney Bus back to LAX?

What hours does the bus run? After 5pm?

Please tell me anything else I would need to know about the bus that I forgot to ask. Like what does it cost to ride the Disney Bus? Please.

Yes the bus will take you to your hotel on Harbour. I believe you transfer at DLH and get on the right route at least that is the way coming back for us.

Here is the link to the site you might get all your answers there with times and prices.

Hope this helps. We are taking it tomorrow afternoon :cool1:

That is the link I used to book my transfers. Also in the date at the bottom it says update for July 15 to Dec 31st 2007.

Ahhh should have said My dates are Jan 24 - Jan. 31 2008

That is why the airfare is such a big deal!! I hate huge Airports, I have bad knees so walking long distances hurts. We usually fly into Onterio, California even though it is 30 miles away. But the cheap fares don't include Onterio, darn it!

Sorry, BraMax. I wasn't clear. I wasn't saying your link was outdated. I tried to post a coupon link, then had to edit it because it was outdated.

I think the link you posted is the best for what the OP is looking for.

NP Dangermouse. I know your are a little concerned about your trip. I hope it all works out for you.

Thank-you BraMax for the website I'll have to call them to get pricing.

DangerMouse Thank-you for taking the time to try and help! Here is more Pixie Dust :tink:~~~*~~~ for You and your Family, the Disney trip and your vehicles!! :wizard:

Does anyone have first hand experience with LAX and Riding the Disney Bus from LAX to Disneyland, that you can share with me?? Where do you board the bus? How far is it from Southwest gates? Any help will be much appreciated!

I added a countdown!

The bus is great, no problems thus far using it and this will be our fourth time in Jan. I can't tell you how far the stop is from the SW gate but it is right outside baggage claim and you can't miss the green signs overhead for the bus stops. I believe it picks up every half hour until late evening and then it goes to every hour.

Given the $24 roundtrip price, you might want to consider renting a car. For our party of 4 that's already $96. I reserved with Alamo for about $13/day, which will make you come ahead for short stays.

It is expensive. Although 1 way online is $17.each x 3 = $51.

Yep! The bus was a great option when it was just 2 of us for a week, but if you have a large group there are even limo and car services that are less expensive and for a short trip, rental cars are a good choice if you're willing to drive.:dance3:

There are several busses/shuttles that go from LAX to the Anaheim hotels. The Disneyland Resort Express (Grayline bus) is decorated with Disney characters, and my understanding is that they play Disney movies on the way to the Anaheim Hotels. This is usually less expensive than the other shuttles, however, if you are not staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, you will need to transfer from the bus to shuttles that will take you to your hotels (at least that is my understanding).

If you would rather go straight from LAX to your hotel without transferring to another shuttle, then you might try SuperShuttle, Primetime Shuttle, etc.

All of them have pick-ups at the same curb for each terminal at LAX. They are pretty well marked.

I don't know about everyone else's experiences with Disneyland Express, but we used them twice within the last year while we were staying at the Carousel Inn and we didn't have to switch our bus at any time. I have heard of some people having to do this, but we didn't, so maybe it is just a "sometimes" thing? Hopefully someone who has used them more often can shed some light on this. And, on all 4 trips we never had any Disney movies at all, so again maybe this does happen sometimes but we have never experienced this.:)

how far ahead do you need to book your seat? We need to have 2 seats onthe 17th of January 2008

I booked our transfer just the other day and we are going on 1/27. I haven't made the final decision yet on the Legoland tour...or if we want to mess with renting a car, so I have not booked that one yet.

That's good to know. I wonder which properties they stop directly at?

the Disneyland Express will stop at almost any hotel directly in the Disneyland Resort area without having to transfer to another bus. You will most likely make a stop off at the Disneyland Hotel where they collect money for the fare, but that is about it. After that, they take each passenger to the hotel they are staying at. I have had nothing but great experience with this service -however, as some people mentioned, you may want to look into renting a car as it can be cheaper, and in the end, much easier.

As far the length of how far the stop is from the gates - the pickup for the Disneyland Express is directly outside from all the gates - very close and convienent.

We rented a car through Enterprise for our family of four when we flew in to LAX and it was very convenient and cheaper than a shuttle or bus....$54 total (incl. taxes and fees) for four days in a full-size car.
