LAX, returning the hire car very early in the morning!

Hi. We have early 6.30am flights from LAX so will need to return our hire car pretty early. Are the shuttle buses to the terminal all up and running and more importantly frequent very early am?

You’ll need to ask the specific place you are renting the car from about the availability of the shuttle you need, but generally, LAX is operating around the clock.

Depends on the rental agency. Several are authorized to pick up at the terminals - mostly the major ones. Others (lower tier) have shuttles meet at the Remote Rental Car Depot where customers take the Metro Connector Shuttle. The major ones are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Some have limited hours, such as Ace, which is 7 AM to 8 PM. If one is open 24 hours, the shuttles will run 24 hours.

The following doesn't have a direct link, so you'll need to select "Rental Cars". Also - I'd suggest using the phrase "rental car" since it the generally accepted phrase in the United States. Not that airport employees wouldn't understand, but others may not.
