Law resigns - about time!!!

If you've been following the chruch scandals you know thousands have called for his resignation. Well I guess he finally sees the light - there can be no forward movemment & healing within the church with him in place.

Well, it is about time. I am so disappointed in the CHurch here in Boston Maybe now we can start moving forward.

Remember...he tried to resign before...but the Pope would not accept it. There's just too much to this story and we'll never know the full extent of the people affected...

I wonder if they'll discuss the resignation in homilies at Mass this weekend...guess we'll wait and see...

Once other Priests started a petition for his resignation he probably realized he needed to leave.

This morning they are saying Baptisms and Conversions were dwindling on the local level. When the individual Churches begin to weaken like that it's time for change.

His mishandling of the "situations" should have led to his resignation long ago. Better late than never I guess.

As much as I hate to admit it...I think a major factor in the Pope accepting his resignation was the lack of donations given to the church lately...
I mean, the Boston diocese may have to declare bankruptcy, a church!! The Catholic church in Boston!! Who ever thought the CATHOLIC church in BOSTON could ever be in trouble...

The whole situation is awful
