Has anyone who has seen several seasons of this show noticed how Vincent D'Onofrio's character Goren seems pretty normal now? He doesn't seem to have any real quirky characteristics anymore.

I wonder if he's bored with the show. Also, nothing against the new guy but I really liked the old boss better. And with the 2 other detectives, we only get to see Goren & Eames half as much.

I watch just for Mike Logan He was on the original Law and Order back in the day.

What kills me is Eames was in "what about bob". Every time I see her on CI, it cracks me up.

This is my least favorite L&O! Must admit Vincent D'onofrio's drives me crazy with all his quirks & his voice!

Now I'm someone who ADORES Vincent D'Onofrio. He does seem a little less quirkier though. I don't like the fact that they brought in Christopher Noth as we see less of Goren and Eames. (liked Noth as Mr. Big - just don't want him infringing on my Goren time...)

I definitely like Logan better than Goren! I liked Logan back in his original L&O days, too. But I do agree Goren has been less quirky lately.

The first time I saw CI, Goren was climbing over a desk to get to a dead guy sitting in a chair. I thought, how stupid is that, he could be messing up all sorts of evidence, real cops wouldn't do that. And I stopped watching & didn't watch any more CI's.

Then awhile later, I guess my dh had it on & I started watching & totally enjoyed it & his quirky ways. Don't know what changed my mind but I really liked him after that. He just looks like he's not as much into it.

He has a way about his investigations..a special style, sort of like Columbo had years ago..He is very very clever.
