Laundry

Hi. Do studio villas have washers and dryers or do just the bedroom ones have them? We'll be staying at BWV if it makes a difference. Thanks

Studio villas do not have a washer or dryer in the unit. The 1BR and larger units do.

That is correct, there are no laundry facilities inside the studio units. But the DVC resorts have laundry rooms that studio guests can use without charge.

it is one on the first floor - getting off the elevators it is down the hall to your right - the door says laundry and it is on your left - but sometimes it is open. bring your key (you may need it here - you may not)

at the elevators to your left is the pool entrance and gym

if memory serves, there are 3 washers and 2 dryers.
the best times to get a machine is very early in the AM or after 9pm (many do theirs while at the pool).
and a gentle suggestion: try not to do as one woman did on our last trip, and use every single machine in the room, reloading each one so none were unavailable to any other guests for most of the day (she did not stay in the laundry room, just kept going back to reload ).
when we (politely) asked if she knew when she might be done, she became quite abusive (her husband sat there, looking mortified and apologetic).
btw, we left with our dirty laundry to do another day.....that was the first time we thought of going back to a 1 bedroom since we started going as just 2 ppl
