Laundry Tokens?

We are DVC owners, but the only place we've ever stayed in a studio was at Aulani. We are planning a couple upcoming nights in a studio at Beach Club Villas. Do all DVC resorts offer laundry tokens to members staying in studios? Or is that only Aulani?

Never heard of a laundry token, your magicband should open the laundry room door, then just use the machines. Be sure to bring soap and dryer sheets. Although you could buy them there I think it's a $1.00 a box for soap.

They are free, some places the magic bands open the door. I think it is only Aulani that has tokens.

If machines have slots for quarters/tokens, just push the slide in without them. As others have posed, you don't need them at WDW resorts or VB. Don't know about HHI, as I've never stayed there.

I'm guessing Aulani must have a shared laundry area for both DVC and cash resort guests. WDW has dedicated DVC laundry rooms, so no tokens needed.

Yes, when we visited the desk was happy to provide them.

So handy as (pre covid) visited there pre cruising, helped cut down fee for extra checked bag.

I usually just go to the front desk and ask for soap and they give it to you for free. Aulani probably has a similar issue to VGC since it is tied to a non DVC resort and doesn't use magic bands. They do tokens there too. But all DVC resorts do offer a free laundry area for this staying in DVC rooms.

Thank you! As I mentioned, we're partial to 1BR villas, so we typically have laundry in the room when staying DVC. This was super helpful!

It is a shared laundry area with hotel guests and DVC members, therefore Aulani uses tokens for members. At AKV there is a separate laundry room at Jambo House for hotel guests.

We have been DVC members for a while and I've never heard of these.
We normally stay in a 1 BR, so don't have to worry.
