I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I was thinking i might need to do some laundry during our trip. Does anyone know if they sell ALL brand laundry soap? I am allergic to all other brands. Thanks!

It may vary from resort to resort...however, I was at Pop and Poly in August and ALL was not a choice...I know there was Tide and I "think" Cheer....I did not buy my detergent there....I normally always buy liquid for home use...so I just bought a small box of powder, put it in a double ziploc (type) bag and put it in my suitcase...I did the same with dryer sheets...I do not believe there was a place for liquid softener until the actual rinse cycle....

You might try packing the laundry tablets. That's what we do. Pretty convenient too!

Not sure where you are staying but the moderate resorts carry Tide and Downy.

You could always save some kind of smaller container from something such as a water bottle of convenient size and pour your liquid or powder in it, throw it in a suitcase won't take up much room especially if you use it all you just toss it. Get some dryer sheets they are flat.

The Poly only had Tide there the last time we were there. I still have a box of it left ove that I'm taking this trip. If they had Cheer then I would have gotten that as that is what we use at home.

I could not find the tablets anywhere this time. Our Target hasn't had them in months and neither has any grocer. I got really desperate and went to a Walmart and they didn't have them either. Where do you find yours?

I can't find the tablets anymore either, so now I measure out a full-load size of my favorite detergent in zip-lock baggies and take those. I also take dryer sheets. Works out wonderfully and takes so little room in the luggage. Another thing I take is a bagful of quarters for the machines.

We do take the dryer sheets but I don't use powdered soap so no taking that for me. When we drive to WDW I take an empty water bottle and fill that up with liquid soap. A bottle holds two loads worth. I just don't want to have that in my suitcase when flying. I leave on Friday so will just buy the stuff in the machines at the laundry room.

Our Wal-Mart and the Dollar tree in our neighborhood have had small bottles of ALL (does 4 loads) lately. I thought about buying some and saving for a trip....they are easy to pack, are sealed until you use them and have the measuring cup on top. Even if I only do 2 loads and pitch the rest it is worth a dollar.

The laundry detergent ($1 per load) was the cheapest part of doing the laundry ($2 each to wash and dry). If you're only doing a couple of loads and don't mind Tide powder (that's all I remember them selling at WL), that may be the way to go.

I bought Tide in the little bottles, and put them in DS's rolling backpack, so I wouldn't have to carry them. I only used one, so gave the other one to a woman who was coming into the laundry room with a few loads. It felt nice to share! LOL!

Anyway, got them at Target. But I like the measuring the powder into the baggy thing!

Thanks for the help. I couldn't remember if I had seen it in the machines or not. I brought my own last time. But really don't want to do any laundry this time but thought just in case maybe I should bring some.
I will have to look for the little ones at Walmart. (we don't have a Target around here!) My DH will most likely kill me if I say I'm going back to Walmart! It seems like I've done nothing but go back to wealmart everyday for little things I forgot.

I bought a box of the Xclaim laundry sheets a long time ago. They are so convenient, I only use them on vacation. I can't find them in the stores anymore, but they do sell them online. You toss one sheet in the washer and then just put it in the dryer with the clothes - very easy to use and so simple to pack.
