Laundry Service

Hello Everyone!

We are going to be at Disney over Thanksgiving and I am looking for info on Laundry Services. We are staying a POP Century, and a friend of mine told me that they offer a drop off laundry service where they wash, dry, and fold your laundry for you for a fee. Has anyone used this service? Does it still exist? How much does it cost? Any info would be great! Thanks!

They usually have a laundry bag in the closet with a form attached.

Undershirts & Bras 2.00
Handkerchiefs 2.00
Blouses 5.50
Slips 4.50
Nightgowns 6.00
Tennis shorts 5.00
Knit shirt 5.00

Plus an environmental surcharge
Liability limited to 10 times the dry cleaning charge.
Not responsible for buttons, ornaments and zippers.

Items received by 8:30AM will be ready by 6:30PM

Silks, linens and pleats 50% surcharge; lined +1.00; minimum charge $5.00; shirts folded on request +10% surcharge; press only 75% of dry cleaning charge.

Thanks so much! That helps a lot. I am just trying to avoid packing a ton of clothes With the Florida weather, we may need shorts during the day and long pants and long sleeves at night .... LOL

Each resort has a guest laundry room where you can do some laundry while you swim. The washer is usually about $2 a load, same with the dryer. A lot less expensive than using the laundry service, unless you have money to burn.

And if you stay at a DVC resort you either have a washer and dryer right in your villa (one bedroom and larger) or access to a free washer and dryer.

I remember someone posting about a place just offsite where they dropped off their laundry in the AM, and picked it up in the PM. They mentioned paying about $20 for a reasonable amount of laundry; I wish that I had written down the name of the laundromat when I saw that thread!

So here's a bump to see if anyone remembers this post or the laundromat!
