Just a quick question before I head off to my next DVC stay....


...where are the laundry facilities for DVC members staying in a studio Jambo House Concierge Level?

The laundry room is on the second level next door to the Arcade and across the hall from Community hall. It is not far from the lobby so if you are staying in a studio at the very end of the hallway, be prepared for a 1/2 a mile walk each way.

I have not heard of a seperate laundry on the 6th floor for DVC concierge. The DVC laundry room (key access) is on the fifth floor, on the right, at the start of Zebra Trail.

We stayed AKV Concierge last month in a studio. You will need to use the 5th floor laundry for DVC guests Only.

Dont forget your key, because that room is locked at all times! Had to go back up because I forgot my key.

There are 2 washers and 4 dryers.

So we aren't allowed to use the washer and dryer in the laundry room right next to 6401 in concierge? We were in 6402 on CL, and there was a laundry room right there before the elevator where the public rest room is. I never thought to try and use it since we were in the 1 bedroom and didn't need to.

you probably could use it - but don't think it is free - like the DVC ones are.

You know, I asked about the laundry and was told to go the the 5th floor. We were in 6401 so that would have been a hekuva lot more convenient!!

I didnt peek behind those swinging doors off the hall restroom, so honestly I dont know if we can use them or not.

We are staying concierge again next year, so this would be good news

We normally stay in 1 beds but have decided with concierge level, we will just use the studios, since we got the 1 bed without the tub on our first stay. I do miss the laundry, because I dont like dirty clothes piling up, but cant really justify all the extra points to wind up without a whirlpool tub.
Tub and Laundry are biggies in concierge, since our kitchen use is so limited with all the offerings.
