Laundry??? Really?

we always do laundry. So much nicer! And I wouldn't worry about the washing machine "friends" tagging along. As long as you are using a good detergent, there is nothing to worry about.

This last trip, we did laundry about half way through (about 4 days in) and then I did it again the night before we left so that everything was clean when we got home. Who wants to do laundry when getting home from vacation?

I always pack a small bottle of Woolite, since it's safe for all fabrics and colors. If we're taking a short trip, I might hand wash a few items that can hang dry. If we're taking a week or more, I'll definitely have laundry to do and I don't mind since I can wear my favorites more than once. On one trip DH was wearing his favorite Hawaiian shirt at BWI when we sat on some colorful upholstered furniture. When we stood up again he had a huge half-melted all-day-sucker stuck to the back of his shirt. It had blended so well with the cushions we never saw it when we sat down. I thought I'd never get all those colors out of the shirt, but I did have some Woolite with me and it saved the shirt. I never travel to WDW without it now.

Me, DH and DS with 2 suitcases between all of us and will be there for 8 days and don't want to overpack so we will be doing laundry (yuck!). Plus with the change in the baggage weight, I don't want to be over the limit and have to pay an extra $40-$50.

I'm just thinking that I might be changing clothes more often because of the humidity! I haven't test packed yet so we shall see!
