Laundry Question

Hi! We are a family of 6 who leaves for the Fort in 3 weeks!!! Doing laundry is inevitable...Could someone please let me know how much it costs to wash and dry? Also, if I bring my own detergent, do the machines need high efficiency detergent? Thanks! And have a great Memorial Day!!!

The washers and dryers are $2.00 each per load. As they replace old washers they have been updated with HE washers so I always bring HE detergent. I also bring my own dryer sheets. They washers run for a little over 30 minutes and the dryers run for 45 minutes and have always dryed clothes on 1 cycle if not overloaded. Hope this helps and have a great time. Mike

We use Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets. No muss, no fuss. No need for separate detergent, softeners, etc. And there are change machines in the laundries to "give" you as many quarters as you might need. Also laundry product dispensers if you run short....for a price.

I love the Purex sheets as well. Unfortunately, last time I went shopping for them (about one month ago) all they had were the Purex pods, no sheets. I was disappointed.

We have also had trouble finding them lately. I don't know if this means Purex is canceling them, or not. Hope not, they are an easy laundry answer when traveling.
