Anyone remember how much is laundry detergent is at WL? :confused3
I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to lug some with (were flying). i havent really been able to find travel size detergent. i thought about driving to a laundry mat near my home and pick some up, but with gas prices I'm not sure if its worth the extra drive. :confused3 My DH :groom: says stop over planning and just relax and buy it at WL. Me princess: trying to save every bit so we can spend more at WDW on goodiesand not yucky stuff (laundry)??

If I remember correctly it is $2.00 at the resorts. You can get travel size Tide at Target for $1.00 (5 loads) so that's a pretty big price difference. The one at the resort is for a single load. Dollar Tree also had travel size All and Downy last week.

You can just put some powder detergent in a ziploc (double up for security)_ or in a clean dry 20 ounce pop bottle to tote with.

herc.

If you have an Albertson's nearby, look for their 10 for $10 promotions. They sometimes have small, generic bottles on sale that would be good for travel.

Or try Dollar Tree or another dollar store.

I always bring the Tide Tablets. They are very easy to pack and small. Have fun. :cool1:

Laundry detergent & dryer sheets at the vending machines are $1.00 each for a 1 load packet.

Cheaper to just bring your own. Tide makes a travel size (4 loads) for $1 at Target and you can now find All (5 loads) also for $1 (seen these at Walmart)

Washers are $2.00 each and dryers are $2.00 each - takes about 30 minutes to finish a cycle.

Where do you find the Tide tablets? I've never seen these.

I always just put powdered detergent into ziplock sandwich bags. Each bag gets powder for one load. Then put all the little bags in one bigger bag just in case one spills. Much cheaper than buying at the hotel or even buying travel sizes. And it takes up almost no room in the suitcase. Put some dryer sheets in a sandwich bag too and your suitcase will smell great!

I do the same as the above poster, with the zip-loc baggies for both detergent and dryer sheels ... takes up so little room in your luggage. Also don't forget to bring a bag of quarters ... a LOT of quarters. The washer and dryer each take $2, and you usually have to run the dryer twice.

At my local Laudry mat, they are .75 I bought one last week when I was with my DD.

I usually get them at Stop & Shop. They come in a box and there are 56 tablets/28 uses. Each box comes with 28 packages of 2 Tide Tablets so they are easy to pack. Good luck. I really think this is the best bet. Also I usually pack an extra pillow case or two to lug the laundry to the laundry room. :cool1:

We were just there at All star Sports $2.00 is the Magical number. $2 for deteregent, $2 for wash (30 min) and $2 for dryer(30min) Since I don't usually use a dryer I brought hangers(and used the ones in the rooms) and hung t-shirts in the bathroom which dried over night and only needed to dry two loads in one dryer. We had been travelling in Florida 10 days prior to Disney so we already had detergent, but normally you would only need enough for a couple loads and that way you can use your normal detergent.
