Just wondering do the resorts have laundry rooms, or service you can use? Wondering exactly how much to pack or would I be able to throw some things in a washer somewhere.

Thanks

YES you can usually find laundry near the pools or at least they right by the pool at All Star resorts and Pop Century to wash is 2.00 an to dry is the same unless it's been raised recently.

The laundry mats are CLEAN! Been very nice anytime I've done laundry while staying at All Star Sports an Pop Century and I'm sure the other laundries are the same....

We usually take an afternoon break an do laundry then an swim while doing laundry of if during winter we go back to room after goin to say AK for the day it closes at 5 so plenty of time to eat supper do laundry an relax before bed.

Step 1: put clothes in washer
Step 2: watch kids swim while you enjoy a large fruity drink from pool bar
Step 3: Throw clothes in dryer
Step 4: enjoy another large fruity drink
STep 5: your done. Laundry has never been so relaxing.

I always do laundry while staying at POR. It has a nice, clean laundry room. I usually do the laundry while dh is watching the super bowl. However this year i think I will go to MK while the super bowl is on.

I too did laundry while the kids swam, I drank diet coke tho:) and read a few chapters in my book...the time flew and it was great not taking a bunch of dirty clothes home for myself or the 2 kids I took with me, their parents appreciated it also:)

We are in a Villa so we have a washer and dryer. I was wondering what type of soap they leave you and do they leave some each day or charge extra for more? I was thinking about sending some with our "necessities box" we are shipping back but don't want to add the weight if we don't need to?:confused3

We have stayed at SSR villas the last three times. Upon arrival there is a single use box of tide powder. I do not remember mousekeeping replacing the laundry soap. But I did bring my own so maybe they noticed that. I also bring dryer sheets with me as those are not provided.:thumbsup2

I'm by nature an over-packer, and love having the option of washing clothes mid-trip. It's nice to take a break from the parks and do a little laundry - it keeps me from becoming a "park commando" (go-go-go every second!).
