Laundry at CBR

I don't usually do laundry on vacation because Hey, I'm on vacation!, but this year I'm thinking it might be easier to do a load or two before leaving. I have two questions:

1. Are the laundries by the quiet pools at CBR? Does each village have its own laundry? I'm thinking about relaxing at night at the quiet pool and throwing a load in.

2. How do you pay? Do you need change or do the machines take bills? How much?

Yes the laundry is in the building at each quiet pool. I would bring change in case the machine is not working. Don't remember the price.

$2 to wash and $2 to dry. If you have heavy items, such as jeans, the dryers can take more than one cycle. They do sell fab sof and detergent for $1 each. I believe that was for a small box of one load of detergent and a box that had two fabric softner sheets. I think the machines sold small boxes of Chlorox II as well. They have change machines , the washing machines themselves take quarters. The front desk at the custom house will also be happy to give you change. I always just take my own quarters to save the hassle. Those little plastic M & M canisters are great for quarters. And I take sandwich baggies with a pre measured amount of detergent and my own fab sof. I am anal and have to do laundry several times, I have it down to a science and have done laundry at all the resorts I have stayed at!

Thanks Amy&Dan, that's a lot of info. I will probably bring my own change, I won't want to take the hike to Custom House (that would be a convenient excuse to not do the laundry!). I found some single use Tide packets at Rite Aid so I'll get those, but I'll to baggie up some softner or buy there. Thanks again.
