Laundry at AKL

We are staying at AKL in a studio. Do they have free washers/dryers for DVC members there too?

Yes, the laundry room is on the 5th floor, near the lobby (kinda over Boma)

No. I don't think any studios have washer/dryers in them, regardless of the DVC resort. That's one of the benefits of "upgrading" to a 1BR or larger. There just isn't any room for them in a studio.

I always think of studios as slightly nicer hotel rooms since the only real extra you get is the kitchenete. For us, it takes staying in a 1BR or larger to feel like we are utilizing the benefits of DVC over standard hotel rooms.

The LEAST they could do though is give studio's larger glasses. Studios get juice sized glasses. My dh asked for larger glasses and was told, no you're staying in a studio. We'd upgrade to a one bedroom for larger glasses, but we don't think it's worth the points!
