Laundry and Dishes.

Do you do your own laundry?

If you don't does the person that does do your laundry put away all your clothes?

Do you wash the dishes?
Or do you have a dishwasher?
Do you Put them away?

I don't do my laundry.
My mom does.

I've started to take the clothes hamper/basket to the laundry room and sort out my reds from everything else.
Then I'll start one load in the morning before school when they need to be done.
But then she has to do more so she has to do the rest of mine.

Oh and of course I've learned to turn my clothes right side out so my mom doesn't have to do it.
I used to never do that.

But she brings them to my room and then I put them away.
Or I'll pick mine up off the kitchen table where they are folded and stacked.
Although when the laundry needs done on the weekend and she is gone, I'll do all the laundry.
Fold them, and then leave them on the kitchen table where they pick them up and put them away.
I'm in charge of putting away my clothes and the bathroom towels.
My mom puts away all the other laundry.
Although on occasion I will pick up the kitchen towels and put them away.

I think doing laundry is fun.
Except I'm really messy when I'm trying to pour in the laundry detergent.

I don't do the dishes.
Usually my step-dad does.
Our dishwasher is broke so we have to wash them in the sink. (Luckily that's the first thing we are saving up for this year.)
We have a box/drainer type thing that we put the dishes in after they are washed.
If I walk by and the dishes are dry I'll put them up.

I hate washing dishes. It makes me sick.
But I know I'll have to do it sooner or later.
Just all the food and ketchup makes me go "Blech"
And the feel of it while you are washing them.
Although I was usually the one having to wash dishes in our cooking class.

My mom does my laundry. I have no idea how to even work the washing machine!
But she puts them on a pile on her bed and I usually have to fold it all. No biggie.

We have a dish washer, but we rinse everything off before putting it in, and I have to load my own dishes in the dishwasher. And again, I have no idea how to work that either. Haha. And I usually have to unload it too.

If you don't does the person that does do your laundry put away all your clothes? We bring the laundry to the laundry room, my mom washes it and then she either folds it and leaves piles on the bench for us all to put away, or if there is stuff in the dryer after school I fold it and put it away

Or do you have a dishwasher? dishwasher, and we each load our own dishes after a meal

Prior to my cancer :

Yes,I did my own laundry.
But only when I ran outta clean undies/clothes/socks.
I'm lazy and my laundry room scares me.

I'd do the dishes when I got bored or felt like it.
Now I don't do laundry or dishes.
My mommy does them for me.
I can't stand,I still don't have use of my right leg.
So for now,my days are spent sittin on my hiney in the recliner.

My mom does it all.
I mean I know I should help, but yuck!

I wash 1/2 the dishes.
My mom usually washes the pots and pans and the dishes that we left at breakfast.
But I wash what was left of lunch and dinner.

But I'm in charge of bathroom towels so yeah.

I only wash dishes as a chore when they can't go in the dishwasher (like big pans and such).
I wash clothes either when I run out and my mum isn't gonna do them, or my mum asks me to.

I now do my own laundry at school, but when I come home on weekends and such, my mom does them, and I'm incredibly grateful for that.

I usually rinse the plates, silverware, ect and put them into the dishwasher. My dad does the rest if he's home. If not, my mom or brother does them.

I wash dishes and do laundry sometimes; mostly wash dishes.
Mmh, I don't really find it boring..just time-consuming. But I feel bad because my mom does it every day so I take over sometimes.We have a dishwasher..but we never use it. Like seriously..hardly ever. I don't know why...it works fine.

Oh, I have to say one thing about doing dishes.

It grosses me out so much. I'll do them, but it takes me a while because I have to build up the courage.

Especially breakfast dishes, I cannot stand touching all the eggs and stuff. I almost gag.

I guess I'm weird. That's the only reason I don't do dishes a lot, is because it grosses me out to no end. I love cooking though....

I refuse to even use a cloth on them. I talk the spray hose thing to them until almost all of it is off.
Then I'll go to the rag.
