Tell me about the washers and dryers, please? How big? How many? Busy? HE or regular? Is there a change machine or do I need to bring quarters? How much do they cost a load? Can I buy detergent there or do I need to bring my own?

Also, I heard there is a laundry service. How much does it cost and how does it work?

I don't think the values have a laundry service. But I could be wrong.

The last time I did laundry it was at POFQ and they did have a change machine but it wasn't working. They also had a laundry detergent machine with tide in it.

I'd brought my own quarters (it was 2.00 to wash at that time) and laundry detergent. The machines were regular type. And the dryers needed more than one cycle to dry the clothes.

I'd heard that some resorts now use your KTTW card instead of quarters but haven't encountered that yet.

As of last fall at All-Star Music the laundry took quarters ($2) and there was a change machine. I would say the washer/dryer size is large but not oversized. Think laundromat!

The dryers are timed, not dry-sensors, but ours went longer that the stated time and the jeans and pants were drier than I thought they would be, but still a bit damp.

How big? large laundromat size
How many? 4 washers...6 dryers
Busy? depends on the time of day...morning is good
HE or regular? regular
Is there a change machine or do I need to bring quarters? there is a change machine
How much do they cost a load? $2 per wash and $2 per dry
Can I buy detergent there or do I need to bring my own? you can buy it in a vending machine....but much better to bring from home. The Purex sheets are great for travel
Also, I heard there is a laundry service. How much does it cost and how does it work? no service

:)

I used the laundry room that is right by the main pool and lobby when we were at ASMu and it was $2 to wash and $2 to dry. I only did one big load and it got completely dry in one cycle.

There is a change machine but I had brought my own quarters not knowing if I would have some place to get change.

They have a vending machine for washing detergent. I think it was $1 per little box (one use size) I bought one.

I went late in the evening (about 7) and all of the washers were in use except for the one I used. By the time my clothes were through washing a dryer had opened up but for awhile there I thought I was going to have to sit and wait for a dryer.

I assume the laundry room stays open 24 hours a day. I would think early morning would be the best time to do laundry there because nobody wants to get up early and do laundry before going to the parks.
