laundrey questions

There was a thread a couple of months ago about a laundromat near DTD where you could drop off your clothes and pick them up a couple of hours later. There are a couple of them here in town that do this and it is actually very reasonably priced especially when you see how much Disney charges for each washer and dryer. I tried doing a search but it was not working. I was wondering where this laundromat was located and how do they charge, Do they charge by the pound, do you supply the soap? Thanks for any info.

Not sure if this is the one your looking for but last year we tried one that was just past DTD. You go down the road through DTD resorts (Hilton > royal plaza etc...) and when you get to the Goodings Mall area can't think of the Road its the hugh intersection, turn Left. Heading past the Safari sheraton, Tony Romas ribs, etc.... Stay in the right lane, just up about a mile was a grocery store not sure could be a publix or piggly wiggly? and it is on the far left corner dry cleaners / laundry.

The Laundry is charged by the weight fairly resonable, however I did have to iron several t-shirts etc... in the room because they appearred to have been in the dryer to long? So if you don't mind ironing some items or be careful, some of the jean shorts felt a bit snug, shrunk? or just overeating on vacation? Good luck, the family that ran this place were very nice! We found it, by asking a clerk in the goodings store.
