Launch Bay and other DHS questions

Is this a self guided type thing? Touring Plans suggest a 20 minute wait and 45 minutes for the "attraction". I'm thinking we would do it right before Fantasmic but it might cut into our F time if it truly takes that long. Also, are the m&g's part of the "attraction" or are those separate? We have a Disney Visa so will that help us with the m&g? I seem to remember a set time frame for Disney Visa m&g. Can anyone tell me when that is?

Just trying to get an idea of a schedule for our DHS day though if they add Olaf, that's gonna throw a monkey wrench in. Also, on EMH nights, what is usually the schedule for F and the Star Wars fireworks.

We aren't going until June so I know that a lot of this is speculative at this point.

Depends on how crowded it is but to just go into the shop usually isn't a wait. There is a 10 minute movie you can see (boring commercial in my opinion) before going into the shop. There is a M&G area. You don't have to wait. IDK about Visa lines. You could walk around for 20 minutes or so but it doesn't have to take that long.

Walking around in and of itself doesn't take long but might take a while to wait for the movie (we skipped it since there was a large crowd for it). M&Gs could be somewhat longer (think it was a 30 min wait when we were there) and are probably not factored in (but they're overestimating the time for the rest I think)

We met both of them by 9:15, looked around for 10 minutes and then rode single rider on RnRC, all done before 10 am.

We typically spend 45 minutes to an hour in Launch Bay each time we visit. We don't always see the film. As mentioned above, the Visa M&G is 11 to 4pm. So going before F! you'll need to wait in the stand by queues. Bring something small to trade with the Jawa. You never know who you will see roaming Launch Bay. We've seen jawa mostly, but once we saw Greedo!

We walked around for ten to 15 minutes today that included at least five minutes trading and playing around with a Jawa (for sure the highlight for my son). We also waited ten min to see Kylo and skipped Chewie. His line was 30 min at 9:45.

A CM told me to straight there after TSMM because of lines. I think that was a good decision.

We're not crazy for SW and didn't do any gaming, so this was not a long experience for us.

I don't think the TP times necessarily include the M&Gs. I think there can sometimes be a wait to get in, especially for the movie. TP is probably including the movie wait, movie viewing, and display viewing. If it's not crowded at all or you don't do the movie and/or displays, then the TP is fine and possibly generous. You can always go back to see things individually, ie see movie & displays, then do M&Gs later and possibly separately.

From what I hear, the waits are significantly less during the Visa hours. That's my plan for our trip coming up in 3 weeks. However, that will only reduce the wait for Kylo. Chewie only has 1 wait.
