Has anyone ever had problems with this company? I placed an order on 10/3/04 for a GOH badge for my daughter. The email I recieved immediately after gave an estimated ship time of 10/15/04 which would have been plenty of time for us to get it for our trip. The email also said that I would get another email when it ships and it is now the 20th and I have not gotten a shipping email. This concerns me because if it has not even been shipped yet we may not get it in time we are leaving on the 29th. There site says it takes 7-10 from when it is shipped usually to recieve the merchandise. I just called the number on my email since there is no way to track it online and it was an answering machine so I had to leave a message. Does anyone know if they return calls timely and if they will do anything for me if I do not get it in time. How long did it take you to get yours if you ordered from them. Is this amount of time unusual? Thanks
 
I know that on my past 2 orders, the items weren't shipped out until a week after the estimated date. If you ordered the standard Mickey Mouse GOH badges, I believe they are shipped out of Celebration, Florida. Perhaps they can just deliver it to your resort instead and have it held there. If you ordered the princess GOH badge, that comes from Disneyland and I'm not sure what your options would be for that.

Please let us know how this issue is resolved.

I ordered a GOH badge from them last year and had no problems. I can't remember anything about a shipping e-mail but it came very quickly. Hopefully you can get a hold of them!
 
Ordered on 10/2, was given estimated ship date of 10/15 and leave to the World on 10/28. No GOH badges yet. Please PM me if you hear back and reach some outcome. THANKS!!
 

I have had no problems at all with any orders i have made with this site.
 
This EXACT same thing happened to me!! I ordered GOH badges from them that were to be shipped on 10/15. We are leaving on Sayurday (10/23) and I was getting VERY antsy. I e-mailed them and got a very quick reply saying they were due to be shipped on Tuesday (10/20) and they would upgrade to 2nd day air at their cost so I would get them in time. Now, I haven't seen another e-mail yet and I *should* get them tomorrow. I promised to sing their praises here if I get them tomorrow. I knew I was cutting it a little close and if they follow through I'll be thrilled. Cross your fingers and I'll keep you updated. In the mean time, try contacting them via e-mail.

for your responses. I hope everyone going through the same thing gets there badges in time. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them. Please let me know if you get yours tomorrow. I will be so sad if I do not get mine in time.
 
I have ordered from them in the past. Shipping is a bit slow, but the item comes as promised. I do know that my actual shipping date was different from my aniticipated shipping date. Once I got the email that it was shipped it arrived 2 days later. I would definelty order from them again. Their prices aren't so overly inflated like those over other Disney merchandise sites.
 
I have ordered from them about 6 times and have never had a problem. I think that it does take awhile to receive items.

Could you please provide me with the e-mail and telephone numbers your using to contact laughingplace.com. I think I may have deleted the confirmation e-mail they sent me. Also, please post an update when you receive your GOH badges. I hope we all receive ours before we leave!!
 
I had a problem with them, but they resolved it quickly.

It was supposed to ship, and never did.

I E-Mailed them, and found out they'd purchased the wrong item!!!! They had to take extra time to do an exchange on the item. They didn't do any faster shipping, but I eventually got the item.

It took about a day to get a response to the E-Mail I had sent.
 
I order a Princess GOH Badge and it didn't ship until a week after the date that was estimated.
 
I just used the e-mail on the website (customerservice@laughingplacestore.com) and the phone munber as well. I think their prices are GREAT and I knew shipping takes a while. I will use them again because I got an e-mail this morning that my GOH badges shipped on the 19th and they will arrive today!! According to the UPS website the package is already on the truck. I'm more than happy with them, especially considering the prices and how they made sure my stuff got here before we leave.
 
I will use them again. But I will make sure I plan ahead for the shipping issues.
 
yours are on the way micks. I'm still waiting on a response to my call and email I will let you guys know as soon as I get a response.
 
I know they recently moved to the other coast and so its a multi step process to get DL merch out to Florida then back out to its destination and it does take some extra time-

It is a quite small operation they run and its not their only profession so it does limit things a bit but dont give up on them- If you cant reach them- keep trying :)

I've used them many times in the past and yes it does take time but its cheaper and usually quicker than waiting for my next trip-

Got my badges this afternoon, as promised! They came in plenty of time for the kids' surprise package from Mickey and Minnie on Saturday morning at 5:00am! Yea laughingplace.com!
