From Indigo on Laughing Place Discussion Forums:
There was a guest preview today, and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and got in with my 3-year old son. The host said we were the very first guests to see the show and that the show was in very early stages of dress rehearsals.
I'll be writing more about the experience on my blog. But I can answer some questions about the old Circle-vision theatre. It's been completely transformed. Gone are the screens, projectors, and leaning bars. Gone is the stage and animatronic figure. In it's place is the new 'Laugh Floor Comedy Club'.
They've brought in big blue plastic benches and installed a slight rake (could have been a touch steeper if you ask me). It's done really cute and looks like what you would expect a comedy club to look like in Monstropolis. At the front of the theatre is a 'stage', which is really a big movie screen, and two smaller screens. This is the least convincing effect of the show. On the right of the stage is a big yellow canister, which will be used to capture the laughs of the audience.
I didn't get to see the queue area, but they did mention that it was being redone too and would be part of the show experience with monitors and such.
That's a big enough Teaser for now. I'll post more about the experience later on The Disney Blog
