We have a 3 night stay at the RPR coming up in August. The only dining reservations I have made is for Mythos (which I hear is very good) and Latin Quarter. We ate at Bubba Gumps and Margaritaville last year and thought we would try something different however I have heard mixed reviews on Latin Quarter and I thought I would ask other disboarders what their experience has been here. All opinions and alternate suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Latin Quarter has two options: the regular restaurant and the Brazilian churrascaria. I've only been to the regular restaurant.

That being said, I've had a few meals there, and they've always been good. The paella is a good choice, vegetarian friendly is available. Their flan dessert is also very yummy!

We've eaten at the regular restaurant many times and have always really enjoyed it.

I have been to both.

hands down, the Latin Quarters/regular is fantastic!

Thanks all....that makes me feel much better about my choice. I can't wait to give it a try and hopefully my two DDs will find something to eat as well.....the quesadillas look like a possibility for them; hopefully not too spicy.

They offer a kids menu, burgers, chicken fingers, fries, grilled cheese quesadillas and a small filet mignon with mashed potatoes.

We always had a good meal at the regular restaurant. :thumbsup2 Nice atmosphere too.

After reading positive reviews for Latin Quarter on this board, we tried it a couple years ago, and we loved it. Add our voice to the yes vote. We'll be back at Universal this October, and everybody is looking forward to dining there again.

It's great to hear that there is a kids menu.....they don't list it on the Universal Orlando site. Although my kids like some ethnic foods, they tend to prefer the more bland versions.

When we first starting going to Universal over 10 years ago my kids were little. The greatest thing was that every restaurant even the resort nicer places catered to kids and offered a special menu. I thought was was terrific.:thumbsup2 Emeril's Tchoup Chop really went all out with their kids menu that and Mama Della's was their favorites.
