We have two weeks booked at Disney with the extended family for next winter but due to our multicultural family we are not sure a couple of people in our family will make it across the border into USA. What is the latest that a trip can be cancelled with a full refund?

First things here :welcome: to the Disboards and more specifically to the Canadian forum!

If you've booked a full package directly thru Disney you have this cancellation policy applies

Translated to 100% refund up to 30 days before trip.

And being careful to avoid the "no politics" rules -- I hear you loud and clear on the multicultural worries. We were in Disney just after the travel ban was posted and one of our D-I-L's holds dual citizenship with Turkey, even though it wasn't included in the ban, it is a predominately Muslim country so we were all worried over the possible complications this could create!

To add one more bit to Donald's answer. If you booked a room only reservation on Disney property you have up until 5 days before check-in to cancel your room reservation and get your deposit back. Tickets are not refundable but they can be used in the future or transferred to another family member.
