What is the latest time you would do dinner if you are going to the MVMCP? We have 5:30 ressies but wondering if that is too late.

We have a 4:20 pm at The Plaza. A little early for us, but we should be ok. I guess it depends if you are doing sit down versus Crystal Palace etc.

If you are doing CP, then you have to take into consideration if you want to see characters, time to wait for a table etc.

The party doesnt officially start until 7 pm.

Best of luck deciding.

we have our ressie's are at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Dont know if that helps. I dont want to miss the characters.

Our latest ADR's have been 5PM. I like a nice meal but don't like to miss any of the party. I had a 4:30 ADR at LTT but canceled it for a 5PM at BOG.

5 pm sounds like a good time. Another good choice is looking at the menu before you sit down to eat so you can be ready to order. Usually if you are nice and let your server know at the beginning of the meal you are going to the party they are pretty good about trying to get you there on time. This suggestion is mainly if you are NOT eating in the MK and need extra time to travel otherwise you should have plenty of time to dine if you are already in MK.

It depends on whether you are trying to get photos with some of the absolutely most popular characters. For example, if you want to get a photo with the 7 dwarves, assuming they are out this year, then you probably need to get in line by about 6 unless you want to spend the whole party in line for them. Belle and the Beast in their holiday clothes is another one that you would want to be in line for a decent time before the party if they are the most important, as that line also is one that gets huge fast. If either of those sets of characters are a priority for you, then your ADR is too late. If meeting the most popular characters isn't a big deal for you, then you are probably fine.

To give you an idea, we went to MVMCP multiple times last year. On a non-sold out night, we got in line for Belle and Beast at about 6:15. We were no where near the front of the line. I would say we were between 10 and 20 groups back. It took about 15-20 minutes once the party started for us to see them.

Cinderella was meeting with the Prince, Stepmother and Stepsisters last year which was a huge priority for DD to get a picture with all of them together. Again, on a non-sold out night, I got in line for them at 6:00 p.m. because they were DD's No 1 choice. I was first in line, with another lady right behind me. By 6:30, the line was probably 10 to 15 groups deep.

We actually have never done the Dwarves because DD isn't interested enough in a picture with them to put in the time necessary, and she always has a princess she would rather prioritize, but I know that some people actually start lining up for them about 5:30, the time of your ADR.

we are at liberty tree tavern for dinner that night. we havent had a priority as to who to see. we are going on the last night of MVMCP so i dont know if that is gonna be a busy one or not. as this is the first time for doing the party.

OP,
It will definitely sell out.

It will be busy, but it should be manageable. I would definitely have a plan of attack for once the party starts though. If one of the high priority characters is added to your list, then I would say you're going to be too late. If not, you should be out by 6:30 PM and be in great shape.
