latest room condition at VWL studio

Hi All,
I have been reading the treads and getting conflicting comments on the latest room condition at the VWL - we are looking to stay in a studio. Does anyone have any recent feedback before we reserve our room? Thanks so much for your help!

We had a 2BR lockoff in Nov (so 1BR + studio). Everything was in very good condition. VWL received a refurb at the end of 2008. Carpet, drapes, some upholstery etc. At the time we were there in 2009 they were in the process of replacing TV's with flat panels.

We were in a studio at VWL in December and it was great!

I was in a studio in December also and it was PERFECT.. everything was in good repair... nothing to complain about. It was clean, clean clean too. NO maintenance problems. It looked like it was new.

Just checked out Friday, Everything was in perfect condition! We were on the 4th floor, all the way down to the end. It was great!

We also stayed there in November and everything was wonderful (it was a 1Br).

We had a studio for 8 nights in March and it was great. It did have the flat panel tv. Bus transportation was the best we've had....never waited more than 5 min. Boat transportation was busy certain times of the day. Guests traveling to the Hoop De Doo Revue caused some long lines. One evening we had to take a boat to MK and then hop the monorail to get to Cali Grill, which should have been a 5 min ride in a boat. The line was so long that we would have waited for a least two more boats.

We stayed in a studio at the VWL in November and I have to tell you, I loved the pull out sofa. IMO it was more comfy than the bed. The room was in good shape, with no complaints other than being spoiled by the larger 1BR and 2BR's recently on our longer trips. We loved VWL other than staying in the "small" studio (when I say small it is vs. staying in a 1BR that we have been spoiled with!)

yes, We had flatscreen tv. The transporation was wonderful, we even remarked while there, that we had two buses that we litterally walked off and on during transporation from park to resort to eat then to park to catch bus back to resort. It was a dream this trip!
