Latest on Getting Groceries Delivered

If you pick up the groceries directly from Bell Services, there is no charge, but a tip is customary.
If you have Bell Services deliver the groceries to your room, there is a $6 per order, not bag, charge (this charge goes to the resort, NOT Bell Services). If they deliver the groceries with your luggage, there is no $6 fee. Again, it is customary to tip Bell Services when they bring anything to your room.
Post-reopening, I have always been charged the $6 fee when I had groceries delivered before I arrived on property (& before being assigned a room). However, I have not been charged for bell services accepting deliveries after my arrival day… & I am pretty sure I’ve always had them delivered to my room (since lugging groceries solo in/on my wheelchair can get pretty unwieldy pretty fast!! 😆). Not sure if anyone has had a similar experience, but it has been consistent for us 😉

$6 is charged if you ask bell services to deliver the groceries to your room. If you go and collect them yourself from bell services there is no fee.
I usually have 3 bags initially. DW and I just get them ourselves.

Just wanted to ask if the comments above also apply to regular package deliveries? I have some (non-grocery) essentials that I was going to have amazon or wal-mart deliver direct to the resort. Wondering if there are any extra fees (or if I should just plan on the $6 if delivered before we arrive...or zero if we deliver while there and pick up ourselves?)?

I would plan on the fee, and then if you are there to accept it, it’s a bonus!

Does anyone know long bell services will keep your groceries? We will be arriving MCO around 8 am. And hoping to go to the MK, if our room is not ready. Should I have them deliver my groceries later in the day?

They won’t deliver them until you call from your room to request them. It should be no problem waiting until later in the day.

We've had amazon fresh delivered multiple times. Very convenient, but selection can be hit or miss for our usual orders. Seems like orange juice and diet coke tend to be out of stock every trip. I'd still highly recommend the service. Bell Service is very accomodating at the resorts I can recall delivering to(BC, BW, WL).

If you mean the grocery service have them deliver anytime. If you are referring to Bell Services delivering to your room they will hold all day until you call them or go pick them up yourself. If they deliver then they charge a standard $6.00 fee plus we tip. We have in the past had deliveries to almost all DVC resorts and had no issues at all...smjj

Question about Bell Services- is the 6.00 fee a tip for the staff or do we still tip upon delivery?
