I see Club Intrawest and Club Cordial remains a perk that is good for current owners as well as owners purchasing after March 20th according to the e-mail news sent out from the Timeshare Store.

Does anyone have experience using DVC points for Club Intrawest or Club Cordial? How does it work to book Club Intrawest and Club Cordial through MS? Is this an RCI exchange or is it a direct booking using our DVC points? What ever happened with Intrawest foreclosures that were going on last year, does anyone know, especially Intrawest Whistler, Canada resort that was supposed to be auctioned off for non-payment?

I own about the point equivalent of a 2BR stay for 1 week in DVC resorts - 350 points, which works for our family. How does that translate into these other clubs such as Cordial and Intrawest? Is there a reduction - like is 2BR of DVC points only equal to 1BR of points Club Intrawest? Has any chart been published?

Also, how hard is it to book Intrawest and Cordial using DVC points or is better to buy some points directly from these other point based systems? Hopefully others can share their experience, as some of the Intrawest resorts look like fun. I'm debating purchasing one other point based vacation club if can't trade out of Disney that easily so we can go to some other vacation destinations such as mountain locations, San Diego area, Canada, Europe, other cities, etc. Also, if you prefer Marriott VC or HGVC or even Worldmark, would like to hear about that too, and whether you own those or trade into them using RCI perhaps.

Hey!

I am not a dvc member, but I do have a Intrawest membership, so I can check to see what is free, I am guessing, if I can't get in as a member they won't be exchanging any of the rooms.

Let me know what you want me to look up :)

I have been to both Mont-Tremblant and Blue Mountin and they were amazing, so much to do! I did find that Mont-Tremblant had better food though...

Cheers,
Charlene

I have both Club Intrawest and Disney. I only use my CI membership to go to Sandestin. Unfortunately there has been a drop off of services. It appears that the Sandestin development is having trouble making ends meet. CI has dropped the beach shuttle. The beach is at least 1 mile away. This is a major hassle for me. The also cut back on free bike rentals, they have half of the watercraft to rent. It looks like they are on a downward slide.
