Latest Massive Brawl at Disney Between 2 Families

I really think the insane WDW crowd levels, and super long lines(thanks to Genie+) are getting to people. When I was there a the parks last, which was a few weeks back I witnessed first hand a couple of heated exchanges between guests( both times on long lines, one time for food, and once waiting to get on Remy). Hopefully all the folks involved in the brawl video, currently circulating on social media( at least the folks doing the pushing and punching) are permanently banned from the parks. However, I really do think the untenable lines and crowds as of late is impacting guests negatively, and this is a clear example. You can't jam this many people, in steaming hot weather, on long lines and tight spaces and not expect some to not be on their best behavior. We will see more and more of this unless crowd and line control improve.

The Indian family (I think they were south Asian) were all trespassed and at least two members of the other family in matching white shirts were arrested plus rest trespassed

the story is one of the younger Indian girls forgot her phone outside while her family remained in line. She then cut her way through the line to catch-up.

after the ride white shirts were waiting outside and a shoving match began starting with the same girl cutting the Line

i think this story is a bit one sided as I doubt the white shirts would escalate to punches over a line cut so guessing people were mouthing off on both sides acting all thug

either way outcome is both families banned, some now with records and I would expect a couple to lose their jobs over this. What company wants to employ someone who acts like that

I that's what is the most baffling of all

Personally it has never bothered me at all when someone wanted to go catch up to their party. For sure not just 1 or 2 people. It's not going to impact my wait at all. There's a myriad of reasons why 1 or 2 need to scoot out and back in, especially when you're waiting a while. I simply don't understand why it is an issue. Maybe if 20 folks try to push by to join 1 line holder, then I get a reason to be annoyed but that wasn't the case here at all.

This was clearly a family of entitled jerk holes. More power to Disney for removing them. Don't need their attitudes in the parks any way. Wish they could install jerk detectors along with metal detectors quite honestly. I'd like the keep them out almost as much

Kind of shocked there’s no security responding to keep other guests safe and preserve the brand. This is unacceptable in the middle of Fantasyland. Not safe for guests or employees that this went on for so long.

Anyone involved on either side is just horrible
The group waiting for family at the end may be the worse but the family that was accused of cutting is horrible also. They should have walked away/ignored them. Whatever they did to provoke them wasn't worth this. They should have had someone go for help vs. confronting them back and escalating it.

Of course it's not Disney's fault, but I think the person was trying to say that the pressure of all of the new intricacies, costs, and horrific hoop-jumping that now makes up a Disney "vacation" sure didn't help their disposition in any way. As a result of the changes over the past few years, more people are on-edge and walk around close to their breaking point a lot more often than in the past.

I'm sure that particular spot made things worse/slower. It's a bottleneck and it's hard to get through that narrow area.

Dang that's pretty judgy for someone who hasn't seen the video. I mean, what if one side was just following down the pathway smacking your 10-year old daughter as you try to retreat and ignore them? At what point do you need to step in and stop them before you become "horrible" as you say?

I'm not saying that's what happened, I haven't really analyzed it or anything, but just blanket calling both sides "horrible" is a reach for someone who hasn't even watched the video.
