Latesleeping teenagers

Would I be able to go to MK in the morning & get fastpasses for my 2 teenagers who want to sleep in & then meet them later? I wd need to have their passes with me to get the fastpasses & cd leave the park & met them at the gates. Do their passes have to go through the park entrance ticket gate to activate the fastpass? If they do, how do the kids get into the park since they won't have a hand stamp? Just trying to keep them happy campers!

It doesn't sound like that would work...

I would imagine that it does have to be a scanned at entry ticket in order to work at fastpass, but you never know until you try.

On the same note, if you don't scan it, they wouldn't need a hand stamp.

At any rate, you have to be pretty accomadating to go through all of that so they could get a few extra ZZZ's

Apparently there's no connection between the ticket having been scanned at gate and being used for FP - but I think Disney is trying to close that little loophole. But really - I'm not sure I'd be that nice to my kids! Besides - unless the park is VERY crowded, the FP return will be within an hour or two, and hardly seems worth the trouble for you to then have to walk all the way to the front of the park to give them their passes!

Thanks for the replies. We've never had a chance to use fastpass yet, so wasn't sure how long time to return to use it is. Guess its time to stop catering to my kids isn't it!

I'd rather get the fastpass and walk to the front, than have a grumpy teen with me all day.

...yeah, I've got 'em (DS - 18 & DS - 15).
