Hello all! So, we just got a better deal on airfare for our December trip and snatched it right up. It is non-refundable, so I don't see the details changing (although it IS airtran, and I HAVE heard about their schedules changing....?) and it's for BETTER times! We arrive in WDW a whopping 7 minutes earlier :rotfl: but get to stay almost 2 full hours later! We fly out of MCO at 6:30, so I figure we'll have until at least 4ish (no?) to head for the airport from the World. Being early risers, we'll have no problem getting to Animal Kingdom before 8am..... so should we go?! At this point, we are visiting the other 3 parks but not AK. It is my mom and sister's first trip (with daddy, DH and I rounding out the travel party) so I want them to have enough time to see Pop century, DTD, etc. As it stands, here's our current schedule (sparing details)

Wed: arrive, dinner @ Chef Mickey's, ride the monorail, EWP, etc (explore mostly :))
Thu: MGM
Fri: MK, MVMCP (longest day EVER! :) )
Sat: Epcot
Sun: DTD, relax, lunch at All-Star Cafe (must do for daddy and sis) take off in the PM

SO...... is it do-able to do Downtown Disney (just a few shops, not big shoppers! (besides me!:)) on Thursday after MGM and visit AK on Sunday until 2:30 or so? Will that be enough time to at least get a good portion of it, and get our money's worth? I have been to WDW several times but never AK ( :sad2: ) for one reason or another. As far as money, it will just be another MYW base ticket day, so just slightly less than a daily admission per person.

Thoughts?? Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

DSister is also a nut about swimming, and I promised her she'd at least have a 'little' time to swim (thinking Wednesday, Thursday after MGM, and Sunday some..... if we switch things up and go the AK route, will there still be time? Grr.... all these details :)

Boy, just when I was LOOKING for some more Disney stuff to ponder...... :earsboy:
