Lateness of AP discount?

We're headed down in Oct. staying at AKL and we still have not gotten an AP discount. The people at Disney Res. tell me it hasn't been released, but one of them expressed concern that it's being held back so late. Should I be concerned, or will it eventually come through?
I know it's still early, but I've never had the AP rate take this long.

Hi I'm also going to WDW in Oct and am still waiting for AP discounts to come out. I know I have some time still . I feel really bad for the people going Aug 24.... 11 days away and no discount...

Disney must know how many rooms are booked for Sept and Oct and should send a message to all of us AP holders that we are important to them by just releasing those AP rates.

I have heard Aug 22 as the date on a few different boards but why wait so long...Alot of people are booking other hotels for cheaper rates.
I just hope they show up soon............
