Late to the game tip planning could use some tips..

So .. I am super late planning our trip for Thanksgiving week. It was kinda a last minute decision. And dining is slim pickins...

besides following the cancellations thread and searching online often (or calling) are there any other things I could be doing??

Sign up for TP & run the DW Dining Res Finder tool - can be searching up to 2 restaurants at the same time. I've picked up a few that way.

You can pay the fee to join TP but it's not necessary to access the site's reservation finder. Just open a free membership w/ your email address.
You can also open a free membership at opentable.com for reservations at most Disney Spring's restaurants.

Another thing to try, check at 30 days out (vacation packages need paid in full or cancelled for full refund. At 5 days out, room only reservations need to be cancelled to get refund. Any where from 24 to 48 hours of reservations aren't cancelled a $10 per person no show fee applies.
