Late Stay for Animal Kingdom

Has anyone ever been to the Animal Kingdom for the late night program? We are staying on site and have been reading about staying late at different parks on different days of the week. At the Animal Kingdom, are the animals out after 8pm? Can you see the animals (because of lighting and the animals being active at that time) after 8pm? Is it worth doing a late stay at the Animal Kingdom park? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

DH had asked me about this too. I told him it was mainly ITTBAB and Dinosaur open. I know Kil. Safari is open for EMH seasonly though (when there is more light at night? Weather is warmer?).
