Late spring 2025 incentives (April 29-July 14)

This is my concern going resale on something that I can purchase in active sales with incentives. If my price per point is within reach of the resale average I would much prefer getting full access and picking my own contract sizes so I can use them anywhere.
Using them anywhere is a huge bonus imo. Resale is so much stress. It’s full of anxiety for 45-120 days. Also a welcome home trip is a great benefit too.

I'm out of the loop on incentives y'all, and confused.

Can someone clarify the current offers for me?
I understand AP $1000 and D23 $500 are currently offered.
Is there a Visa offer as well, or any others?

Disney Visa promo is gone.

AP promo is new. $1,000 off starting on 100 points. Expires 7/14/25.

D23 $500 is still valid. The D23 flyer states through 12/31/26.

D23 and AP incentives are in addition to the developer promos per point listed on the DVC website.

You can also take Magical Beginnings on 150+ points paid at $20 per point.

Military and CM discounts are also available. I am not eligible for either so I do not have information about them.

Thank you! Basically like the prior round except Visa has been replaced by AP credit.

Exactly! That's actually how my guide phrased it when we spoke. He said AP "replaced" Disney Visa. AP starts at 100 points whereas Disney Visa was 150 points.

I know 250-299 PVB points is exactly the same pricing ($13 savings per point), but lower and higher point tiers are all $1 less per point with developer incentives. Saving on dues makes it a wash to me. I am still on the fence.

The D23, military, and CM count for the same $500…they do not stack so if you have any of them, it’s still just $500.

They just don’t understand that throwing us an extra thousand dollar bone would probably have a lot of a buying more points!
I have no business buying Poly, hadn’t really even looked at the numbers.. but if the 1k was in addition I would likely buy that instead of BWV and sell my CCV.

I can tell you that there were lots of interested guests on the Dream this past week….had lots of conversations and gave our several referral cards to potential buyers.

At least a few turned them in! We shall see if any buy!

Seems like something a simple 1,500 Welcome Home credit could resolve :rolleyes1

In all honesty 1,000 is enough for me to jump on direct rather than placing offers and hoping they come through. Being in my 2024 UY has some appeal. 1,000 is less than 2024 dues would have cost. Direct is just so easy. *wipes pixie dust out of me eyes*

Doing some quick math I can earn ~16% back in CC points bringing my OOP cost to ~$183 per point before MB. If I took MB that would mean $163 for PVB direct which honestly isn't bad at all.

I made an offer on a resale VGF which had a nice chunk of points and still haven't heard back. It's so frustrating.

If I do decide to buy I won't do it until mid July so I can straddle the next promo window. Every month I wait is money saved in 2025 dues.
What's your CC strategy that gets it up to 16% back?! That's amazing.

I did some quick math with 2 new Business Platinums + referrals (250k MRs for 20k spend) and 2 new Business Gold cards + referrals (200k MRs for 15k spend). All those MRs cashed out coupled with the incentives and higher tier incentives should get me there. It's nice to count the Magical Beginnings spend because I get that back tax free and it can help me hit another CC bonus.

signing up for some new credit cards with big sign up bonuses is the usual way to get a nice one time cash back on a big dvc purchase
This is why direct for active resorts still appeals to me. I can put every penny on a new CC rather than taking it directly from my bank account. I think $7,500 is the max for title companies I have seen so that is definitely a perk, but if I am paying cash I want the biggest return.

I am running numbers to obviously justify a purchase and all the prices today are better than when initial sales started at PVB IT for members. Combine that with the fact you're saving $2.06 per point for 2024 dues (3 months at $8.23) and $4.30 per point for 2025 dues (6.5 months at 7.93 assuming you buy mid July) you come out ahead in almost every tier. This is all before Magical Beginnings which wasn't offered back in October 2024 for PVB IT.

Now I am even more intrigued by what will happen 7/15!

I thought it was better, but didnt go back to confirm. The nice part about the current offer is its for valid on 100 points which doesn't often happen. But I know many want over 100.

Yeah if you wanted a small add-on this would be very helpful. The points chart is pretty high so 100 wouldn't do much, but I guess if you're alternating resorts annually 200 can go further.
