Late spring 2025 incentives (April 29-July 14)

There's an extra $1000 discount for current annual passholders at Riviera, Polynesian, and Fort Wilderness. Appears to require a purchase of 100 points:

All Tours must be completed by July 14, 2025, when the offer expires. If Tour occurs on or after July 8, 2025, offer expires 7 days after Tour. Offer end date is subject to change.
Oh great an extra incentive on Poly when Im gonna tour Poly and I happen to have an AP (said in a sarcastic tone)

I just got off the Disney Dream and it was part of it. With my June UY and using MB program, I could get the 200 points as low as $183!

Financing with 20% down has a rate of 8.99%…so, honestly, not a bad rate at all!

It was hard to resist for sure!!

Hmm weird I just noticed they say Prospect, odd since my guide obviously knows I'm not a new member (he sent these to me).

It's a decent deal if you're on the hunt for new contracts. Every time I run the math though, even with good incentives, I have a really tough time getting past the point charts. If I could guarantee 7 month availability at a walkable lower point chart location, I'd be more excited about it.

Yeah I thought maybe I would be tempted. I love the Poly, though I just wish it wasn't so dang busy.

But as someone who already has direct benefits, then if you love the Poly and want to stay there, resale is still pretty flexible and a big savings...

I don’t have direct benefits, but I also haven’t been convinced I need them.
Definitely not required. But it is very nice. Discounts on food and merch are good, though you can get a lot of those with the visa card too.

Once you have a lot of points annual passes are pretty much a given. We have saved around 2k ish on annual passes by getting the DVC sorcerer pass just the last 2 years already even with just the 2 of us. That would be 4k if we were a family of 4 so the savings can definitely add up, especially with larger families.

And we have some gotten discounts on after hours parties, halloween parties, christmas parties etc too. And used the lounges on occasion.

And we know we can use at least part of our points at future resorts if they come up with some cool resorts in the future that we want to try but not necessarily buy into. Definitely a lot of things to think about with a direct purchase.

I totally get this. And if I could get down there twice in one 12 month period, we could save! But I imagine most years we will do 1 week for four to five people, or sometimes 2 to 3. My older kid is entering middle school so taking her out of school is getting tougher, and summer heat is a non starter for her.

Long term, I see myself going annually and possibly my spouse, maybe my youngest child; right now we are bringing my mom too (82 yo) but she's not necessarily doing the parks every day. Direct benefits are good, but I can also obtain a lot of benefits just by getting an annual pass for myself only, which is what we've done so far. The math is pretty tough for the upgrade here! I want to make it work but it doesn't really math out for me very quickly compared with throwing the extra costs of upgrading to direct in an investment account. If I had more kids to bring, it definitely could make more sense.

Doesnt make sense if you're a Florida resident to be direct

You wouldn't need it for the pass, true. But if you are hanging out in the parks a lot, getting access to lounges basically all the time would be nice. Easy snack and drinks. Very expensive snacks and drinks lol, but still nice.

I do wish they would have even more direct benefits added. Maybe even add crazy good benefits at tiered levels to get members to buy more than the 150 minimum. Without removing or moving any of the current benefits into higher tiers of course
