I am planning on going the last week of September right before the Food and Wine Festival begins. I hear the parks are not very crowded. Is that true? Even on weekends like the weekend of the 24th?

I have toured mid September through end of September 3 times. We have never encountered crowds. Have pictures at EPCOT with no one in them. We do MK only on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

That sounds great. I accidentally booked our trip from the 23rd to the 29th not even knowing about the Food and Wine festival. If I had known I still would have booked it the exact same way. I like the idea of less crowds. :):)

I'm with you all, we're going 9/22 - 9/29 and I can't wait!!! There are NO crowds that time of year whatsoever! :earsboy: I love going when it's not so busy!!!

We went to MK on a Saturday in late September 2002, (I think it was the 29th). It was much more crowded than at any other time that week. This year we are planning AK or Epcot for Saturday. Although we will visit MK that night for Spectro...

We have learned to avoid the MK on Saturdays no matter what time of year.

We went last year, the last week of September. It could NOT have been better!!!

No lines. The longest we stood in line was for TT, and that was about 15 minutes.

We did FP for the Pooh ride, and that was about the only FP we really needed that entire week. Even for Mission Space.

I could not believe how perfect that time of year seems to be! Have a BLAST!:bounce:
