I'm sorry that I left everyone hanging for weeks, but after the 2 days, I decided not to continue paying $10/day for the internet access. I should have though, it is nice to read the reports that I did for the first 2 days, because after that I didn't really keep track!! You know how it is, you get soooo busy!! I did go to the Spa @ Portofino, and needless to say, it was glorius!! I went to lunch by myself at the little deli that is on the property, and had a pizza margarita, it was so tasty, but too big for one person, especially because I also had the marinated olives and mushroom side dish, it was great! I think it had mozzarella and tomatoes also. I ended up bringing the leftover pizza to the girls at the reception desk at the spa, and they were thrilled! The first thing they give you is a robe and slippers and products and you can go to their lounge and watch tv while you wait. They have a nice area for afterwards where you can shower and use the products. They also have lockers to keep your clothes and accessories. They gave me a key attached to one of those little springy wristbands, and told me to hang on to it, and wouldn't you know, I couldn't find it before I left! Luckily they have master keys!! Anyway, my first appointment was the massage. It was a little rougher than I like, but I'm very sensitive, so only parts of it were too rough, most of it was good. The 2nd thing I had done was a facial, which I absolutely loved. I could have that done daily if I could!! The last thing was a manicure, which was done by the same lady that did the facial. She was very fun to talk to. I think she was from Costa Rica or somewhere down there. When I left from there, I felt so relaxed and didn't really want to leave at all!!! I highly recommend the spa there, any treatment would do, but I loved the facial the most. We picked up my MIL from the airport after 5p that night, and kept getting off on the wrong exit, ended up going round and round the airport until we finally figured out what the heck we were doing, and got back to the hotel! We brought her up to the club level, and enjoyed our evening hor dourves and wine/beer. On Wednesday the 22nd, we split up, MIL and DH wanted to go on all the "scary" rides, so I took the kids to Universal Studios and IOA and we did the tamer ones. We went on MIB several more times, thanks to Express Pass!! Loved that feature so much. Universal has that over WDW for sure. That night was our Tchoup Choup reservations, and we loved it!! Best food ever!! Great service! Would go back in a heartbeat. Try the Ipu-Ipu drink, its excellent! We brought the menu home. Hated to leave on Thursday the 23rd, but were excited to head to the Polynesian at WDW anyway. Would stay at RPR again anytime!! I will be posting our WDW report in that area. Thanks for reading!
