Is there some kind of handy-dandy list of rides or attractions that open later than the park opens or shut down earlier than the park closes? Someone already mentioned Storyland Canal Boats... any others?
Thanks!

Toontown opens an hour after official park opening unless you have Toontown Morning Madness.

Pirate's Lair and the boats around the island close at "dusk", whatever that means. They just have to have enough time to get ready for Fantasmic.

It is showing up that there are no posts which is kinda weird.

I don't know if this is "normal" but when we went on Christmas night, they closed Buzz before the park was officially closed. While we were waiting in line, the CM was going thru telling people in line that they were going to close the cue and we "might" not be able to ride. We asked her if there were problems with the ride and she told us no, they were closing down for the night.. I thought that it was pretty strange, but maybe someone out there can give more insight...

Just bumping this. When does ToonTown close? For some reason I think it closes earlier than the rest of DL, but I'm not sure.

I think there are some Fantasyland rides that are closed during fireworks and I thinnk they open again when they are over. Anyone know details?

They close the Fantasyland rides that are centered around the Carousel. It's eerily beautiful to see the Carousel stopped and Fantasyland empty through the castle archway.

Soarin' in DCA usually opens 1/2 hour before the rest of the park opens.

Toontown DOES close early - dusk. I believe it's just an issue of light/safety and the fact that there are only 2 rides and lots of stairs on the other attractions in there.

From my notes from last October (for a Saturday):

Mark Twain Riverboat: 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. "dusk"?
(ETA: MTR may stay open later on nights without Fantasmic.)

Sailing Ship Columbia: 11 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. "dusk"? (when available)

Davy Crockett's Canoes: 11 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. "dusk"? (when available)

The First 50 Years: 11 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Enchanted Tiki Room: closed at 9 p.m.

(ETA: deleted comment about the King Arthur Carrousel.)

Toontown closes early not because of safety issues, but because it's actually the "fallout zone" for the fireworks. :) It does not reopen following the fireworks.

What about nights when there are no fireworks?

Definitely correct on the fallout zone issues! They've always closed early for us in off season without fireworks, so not quite sure. We're not usually there for fireworks. They do always have a sign before the bridge on the hours there though.

The Carousel does reopen with the rest of Fantasyland after fireworks.

Open/Closing I am sure would depend on time of year. I have seen the Mark Twain Running after dark when there is no fantasmic.

When i was there on Sunday (8 days ago) ToonTown closed at 8:30pm. Fireworks that night (which ended up being cancelled) were scheduled i think for 9:35pm.

I know this because DS & I ran over & rode Roger Rabbit at 8:20pm. :thumbsup2

Great! :goodvibes I was worried that it closed around 5, which is when TSI closes.

I'm not sure TSI closes that early; they just aren't open once it's dark, and they have to have time for Fantasmic setup on those nights.

This isn't helpful for THIS year, but IASW closes for fireworks also in case of fireworks sparks hitting it. We watched the fireworks from back there in September, and heard person after person (some nice, some rude) asking why it was closed so early, and then after the fireworks why it was still closed. We even saw the fire marshall walk over to check things out while waiting after the fireworks.

Imagine that, Disneyland not wanting anyone to be caught in an IASW inferno from a fallen firework ember! :upsidedow (you can't believe how rude people can be about that, even once given that explanation...)

But that's not helpful THIS year. :goodvibes

We were just there and ToonTown was open every night except the Sunday night when Fireworks were scheduled, but not shown. ToonTown closed at 10, just like Disneyland did.
That is a great time to go to ToonTown too, not many people and the 2 rides are pretty much walk-on!
