Late October

I'm getting a little worried about my birthday trip in late October (24-31). I just checked the dolphin/swan website and one of them (I forget which) is already booked solid. Also people are being quoted AAA rates in April of like $169, the rate I just got off the website was $275. Is there something going on besides the Food and Wine Festival and a golf tournament (?) that would casue sell outs and higher pricing? I'm just wondering if I should rethink my dates.

I'll be there around the same time & I called the Swan/Dolphin to ask about discounted rates and she told me there was none available, because they were hosting several conventions that week.
