Late October/Early November Photopass Share

You'll have 30 days from the first day you get your photopass pictures taken to claim the pictures. Once the first person claims their pictures, you'll have an additional 30 days to edit them until they are removed. Also, if you by something, you'll have an additional 30 days to edit them.

I think that it would be ok for you to join with your dates. I wasn't quite sure how many days we would have, but someone clarified for me.

If you get back on the 22nd, I would request that you enter your photos and edit them on the 23rd or 24th so that we could get the cd ordered asap.

Sorry I didn't make it online at all yesterday. 10/30-11/1 would be great. If you are interested, please send me a PM with your contact info. I will be closing down new people joining this Saturday and then we will get a pretty good idea of how many people we have and how much the CD will cost.

Hello!

We are down to the last couple days to accept people to the late October/early November PhotoPass share.

If you have not yet sent me a PM with your address or email, please do so asap. By Saturday evening I should have a final confirmation of who will be a part of the group. I will send everyone a PM with the cost for the CD and shipping. I have spoke to several people who said to estimate about $5.00 for shipping. Does that sound fair to everyone? I will also provide my Paypal account or my address so that you can send the money.

Does anyone have any questions? We are all getting soooo close to our trips, can't wait!!!

Feel free to PM or post a message here is there are any questions/concerns/comments, etc.

I hate to do this, but I have to be the bearer of very bad news. We are having to cancel our trip last reason due to a family emergency, which means that I will no longer be going to Disneyland.

I know this leaves some of you in a bind, so I want to do whatever I can to help you out. I can either still organize the photopass share and collect the payment and make cds and mail out to everyone, or someone else in the group is welcome to take over as organizer from this point forward. As of today, I have not requested any money to anyone yet, so whoever is the new organizer could collect the money.

I am so, so, soooo sorry. It was such a tough decision that we had to make as a family, but we believe that it is the best choice for us to be near family during this time.

Thank you & please let me know what you all think is the best solution.

What a bummer Becky! I totally understand family comes first. I wish I could commit to taking care of the videos, etc but my computer skills aren't that great. I really hope someone can do it! If no one volunteers and you can still do it, Becky, I know that I, for one, would be eternally greatful! :worship:

Looks like real life has taken Becky away from the boards for the time being, which we can all understand. I hope things work out for the best for you and your family, Becky.

With that in mind, I will volunteer to handle the organization of our share if that is ok with everyone else. I just headed up a WDW PhotoPass share this summer so I have some experience.

Looks like there are seven of us signed up, so that works out to roughly $14.25 per person to share the $99 PhotoPass cost. Then add another $5.00 to cover the cost for CDs, jewel cases, media mail packaging, and media mail postage. So your total cost would be $19.25 if you send payment via snail mail and $20 if you use PayPal.

Assuming everyone is ok with going forward, I will PM my contact information to all of you tomorrow and also provide some general tips and guidelines for the share. The nine of us who did the WDW share this past summer ended up with over 1700 pictures -- we definitely got our money's worth!

Sorry about that -- I've only used the WDW PhotoPass which is $99 if you preorder. I see that the Disneyland-only PhotoPass is indeed $59 and you can't preorder it. For seven people that works out to roughly $8.40 per person, then $5.00 per person for the supplies. Your total outlay would be $13.40 if you send payment via snail mail or $14.00 if you use PayPal.

Please let me know if you want to move forward or if we should just let the share die a quiet death. I hope all of you will want to keep the share alive!
