Late night Uber availability?

We're scheduled to land at mco at midnight, so assuming our flight isn't delayed, by the time we get our checked bags, etc it'll be maybe 1am or so. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with catching an Uber this late? Will there still be plenty of cars around?

You should be fine – drivers know when flights arrive. But, if you'd like more peace of mind, fire up the app around midnight one night and see what sort of car availability there is at the airport.

I would do that except it'll be more like 1am and I'm never up that late

Many drivers prefer to drive late nights because the often get longer trips and always have less traffic. There will be drivers available.

Agree. In a big tourist city at the airport there will be cars. You may have to wait a few minutes longer, worst case

You shouldn't have a problem getting an Uber. That said, if you want something guaranteed, I would recommend booking car service instead. You won't be subject to surge pricing, and with most companies, the driver will meet you at baggage claim and escort you right out to the car.

Uber/Lyft both operate 24/7 and there is a dedicated driver queue at MCO so it is always easy and quick to get an Uber/Lyft at MCO..

We tried to get Uber or Lyft about 1am this past March and it was awful. The apps were not finding cars and they were also sending me to different floors in the airport. Wound up getting in the taxi lane which was very long, and to our Disney resort about 3am. YMMV. Good luck.
