Hi we will be getting in close to midnight and we were just thinking of grabbing a taxi. Are there taxiis at the airport that late or should we book something? We used FL Tours last time and I was not impressed. What is Meers like, or do they run that late?

We used Tiffany last time and I just reserved them for a New Year's Day arrival. Highly recommend.

Mears runs 24/7, but I just can't suggest using them. After a long day of travel the last thing you want to do is wait for them to wait for other guests, then stop at three places before yours.

Golden Limo has town cars and limo's, and I highly recommend them.

I used Quicksilver towncar service a couple weeks ago and they picked me up at 11:30pm and had a grocery stop too and they were great.

We arrived about 12:30 am on our trip, due to our plane being delayed. We were only going to an hotel right outside the airport, so we used a taxi. It was awful. The driver was crude (female, BTW), van wasn't too clean, and there is no way I'd want to go any further than we did.....about 2 miles. I was so glad to see FL Tours the next day to take us on to Disney.

I've heard good things about Tiffany Towncar as well, but I'd skip the taxi.

We have used Happy Limo several times for late night arrivals. We even had one where our midnight flight was delayed and got in at 2 a.m. No worries...they were there! I preferred that to grabbing a cab.

What about picking up rental cars/vans for late flights like this? The latest pick up times I could find online were 11:59 p.m. then 5 a.m. the next morning? Anyone ever do this with a midnight arrival flight and still be able to get a rental car?

Thanks,
michelle

We have used the onsite rental places and also Hertz and Thrifty, and they are all open 24 hours. Even very late at night, the Hertz and Thrifty shuttles are outside waiting.
