We have been to DW and stayed in several of the Disney resorts. We usually go for a late night swim a few times during our stay. This is a family vacation so I like to do things as a family. Our kids are 17 & 18 now so they should know how to act but... They are still kids. WE all go to the pool and cool off and relax before heading back to our room for the night. We are on vacation and we don't get up at the crack of dawn for any reason. I have seen other folks enjoying the quiet pools at the early morning hours and I do think it is a great idea for the early birds. I have never wanted to stay near the pool because of the noise. I love being in DW but I think depending on the time of year you go you need to find something to do at night. When you have teens many times the biological clock doesn't get going untill 10 PM and then all the parks are closed. The pool is the only place to be some of the time. We have never had an issue with the rooms noise except at the BC and that was just the kids running happily down the hall to the elevator. As long as it isn't every morning I don't think its a problem. Some families are just louder than others. Tolerance is a virtue right.
