Late night fun for the adults

Planning our next trip in the fall. Hope to get a few nights out with just the adults in the group. Back in the day, we would head to Pleasure Island for the Adventurer's Club, dancing and a few adult beverages. Where to people go now?

Jellyrolls, Jellyrolls, Jellyrolls! Did I mention Jellyrolls?? Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar on Disney's Boardwalk. They don't serve food, but they have great drinks and complimentary popcorn! The players there are so talented; it's just an awesome place! Bring some dollar bills and think of some songs you would like to request!! Doors open at 7:00pm, players go on at 8:00pm. Last call is usually between 1:30-1:45am

you have jelly rolls which is 21+ but there are pubs and bars in dtd like the irish pub down there. no real big dance clubs or anything if you want that kinda scene head down to citywalk at universal or downtown orlando.

I find it more fun during the week nights when the bachelorette parties aren't there. There is a CM night too which can get a bit out of hand. Forget which night that is.

We loved Jellyrolls! I could have stayed all night!

We also really liked the bar at the Contemporary, I believe it's called the Outer Rim. You can have a drink, look across the lake to the Wilderness Lodge, and can also take your drinks out on the balcony and watch the Fireworks with the music piped in.

Also, you could go drinking/eating around the world at EPCOT, starting in the evening. The WS is beautiful at night, and you can grab drinks and watch Illuminations.

Boy do I wish I was at the World right now!

Drinking around the world is great! I can't wait for my first adult trip with my sister during F&W festival this September!!

I can recommend Raglan Road. Great drinks, bar food and entertainment.

Unfortunately, there are very few options. No comedy, no special experiences like Adventurer's Club any more. Bars with musical performers like Raglan Road, Jelly Rolls, other resort hotel lounges. The AMC has a dining option. Pretty limited.

Do they still allow smoking inside Jelly Rolls ? That would be difficult with my asthma.

There is no smoking in Jellyrolls thank god!

We love Jellyrolls - plan to go when we're there soon!

We are at AKV this trip, so we plan to drive there and take a cab or bus back if one of us doesn't remain the designated driver.

Last year, when we stayed at OKW, we took the bus to DTD and then the bus to Boardwalk from there. Took a DTD bus when we left at 1am, and the driver had no one else on board, so he was nice enough to ask dispatch if he could take us right to our resort instead of DTD, and they said yes!!!

You could always grab a cab both ways if you like. Or if you've spent the day in Epcot, you could walk over from the back exit. And no matter what park you are at, you could take the Boardwalk bus from it to get there too.

Lots of options, depending on where you are coming from! Enjoy!

Was hoping to go to Jellyrolls this year and now with all this excitement definitely will! One question, do we need to get there by a certain time to guarantee we get in?

There are lots of bars at DTD. House of Blues also has a club that bands play in http://www.houseofblues.com/venues/clubvenues/orlando/. Just walking around down there is a lot of fun. Jellyrolls is great. Yeehaw Bob is as well!
