Coming down 9/22 (a thursday) on a flight that's supposed to land at 9:30 pm. Is there anything open in the MK area or elsewhere that serves (more than just dessert hopefully) past 11 pm? Price is not necessarily a consideration.

Unfortunately, none of the restaurant descriptions in the dining database list hours of operation. Perhaps this info could be added in the future?

Thanks everyone!

I think most of the counterservice restaurants at the hotels on the beam have something available until Midnight, although it may be a grab and go type thing. There is a McDonald's by All Stars that is probably open that late. Otherwise there is room service at one of the hotels.

YES!

try the B-line diner
its IN the Peabody Orlando 9801 international drive.
its open 24 hours.. decorated in 50's style ,,has great food & tons of desserts!!( we ended up bringing cake back to 'house' with us).
you park in the parking lot, and walk through the hotel to get to it. (there may be other access, but we went in that way)
we didn't go there till after 4 visits to disney, never seemed to find the time, great place to eat if you need something AFTER the parks close.

I think the Downtown Disney restaurants are supposed to be open late--when I last went, the only 2 that were still serving after 11pm were House of Blues and Planet Hollywood.

They were fairly crowded though--I wonder that they don't find it profitable to keep more open that late?

Thanks for the replies! We are staying at GF. I was hoping something would be open at either GF, Cont, Poly or maybe somewhere in DTD. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Room service is an option.

Enjoy your stay. I am jealous!

The Contemporary's Food & Fun Center is 24 hours.

I think Gasparilla's grill is still open 24 hours. The grill probably closes at 11 or midnight which is what that menu is probably referring to. And room service is 24 hours at the GF the last I knew.

Captain Cooks at the Polynesian is open 24 hours but the grill closes at 10 or 11. And I wouldn't walk that path that late at night myself. It's probably OK but it's pretty deserted even midday. It is a lovely walk earlier in the evening though.

I agree with LewisC. By the time you get off the plane, get your luggage, get your rental car, get to the GF, etc. it will be quite late and you'll no doubt be very tired and hungry by then.

I'd eat at McCoy's in the Hyatt Hotel which is right in the airline terminal. They have good service and tasty food. And, that way, you won't be starved when you get to your room. I hate to have to find food that late and I wasn't real thrilled with room service at the Boardwalk. Soup was cold, etc. Can't speak to GF room service, though.

I've been very pleased with room service at the GF as well as the Polynesian. Not so much Y&BC/BCV although the service is prompt there as well. The food just isn't as good.

Anyway when I land at MCO, I have no interest in doing anything except getting to WDW. :cool1: Gasparilla's is very good for counter service too.

i think house of blues, rainforest cafe, espn club, and some other DD restuarants are open late. I know they were seating @ the Rainforest @ 12 when i was there saturday night

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I think we've narrowed the options to bringing something on the plane or eating in the airport after we land. Since our flight is supposed to land around 9:30, we wouldn't be getting to GF until about 10:30 or so anyway.

Now if we could only get in to Le Cellier on Friday night....
