Late Night ADR- apps, dessert, drinks only?

I've searched and found a few threads on this, but nothing recent, so thought I'd ask...

We are paying OOP and have a late night ADR- is it ok to go with just apps/desserts/cocktails? Would appropriate tip be a little more than typical since no entrees?

If this is frowned upon I might just cancel it, but thought some late night desserts and cocktails would be lovely

You actually might be spending more than someone purchasing just an entree and nothing else. We have done this before, and it has been fine.

If not on the dining plan, this is something I do a lot at certain places. I prefer the sushi and flatbreads at Cali Grill to the main menu. I also like to get just apps and drinks at Raglan Road, Spice Road Table, and sometimes Jiko.

I order like that all the time even in the "real world". We like taking a break with a TS, but sometimes we just aren't super hungry so we order an appetizer and/or or dessert.
